Wedding Wednesday | No. 102
#WeddingWednesday is a way to connect with our customers and hear their wedding worries or allow them to ask us questions. We have planned hundreds of events in our past life and created printed items for many events over the last 15 years. Every Wednesday, we will post a question box on our Instagram Stories. Be sure to submit your questions every Wednesday and we will answer any and all questions!
What if there is no dress code specified on the invitation?
If an invitation doesn’t specify a dress code, it’s best to judge by the venue. For instance, if the wedding is at a beach location, long flowy sundresses are a good option. If the wedding is at a banquet hall, restaurant or hotel, it’s best to wear cocktail attire. Just remember – you can never be overdressed at a wedding.
What are some easy bridal shower favors?
One of our favorite bridal shower favors were these custom olive oils that @rtprnyc made. They were rosemary and garlic-infused and the containers were found on Amazon.
Another great option is to make a homemade body scrub like @jamietestasmith did for her bridal shower. The label read “From My Shower to Yours” and the ingredients were Organic Cane Sugar, Avocado Oil, and Citrus Fresh and Lavender Essential Oils.
If I don’t want to purchase an existing template, do you offer custom services?
Yes, of course! Reach out to us at info@pursuitofpaper.com. We can help create anything you need!
Is it appropriate that your wedding be “adults only”? If so, what’s the best way to communicate this?
Yes, of course! A lot of people prefer to do that. The easiest way to communicate that is by addressing the envelope with “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” If you address the envelope ending with the names of the children or “and family,” then it’s safe to assume they are invited.
What are your favorite bridal shower games?
One of my favorites is the wedding dress toilet paper game.
